Dear Community Neighbor,

We are the First United Methodist Church of Hudson (FUMC Hudson). We believe God offers hope and joy to all people and we understand that this faith leads naturally to action. Therefore, we take great joy in serving God through our service to the Hudson community.

We want to ensure, especially during these challenging economic times, that you're aware of some of the complimentary programs available to you at FUMC Hudson:

Agape Café– [Ah-gah-peh] Volunteer chefs and waiters serve around 70 patrons a complimentary, delicious supper each Thursday from 5 to 6:30PM. Many choose to arrive at 4 p.m. for games, coffee and conversation.

Worship—Join us for worship at 10:45 a.m. Sundays for an hour-long experience that includes time for prayer, singing, hearing open-minded lessons, and sharing our individual needs with one another. Donations are accepted, but not required.

Activity Groups for all ages—Children and Teens gather for social interaction and spiritual formation each week, always supervised by two CORI-certified adults. Adults also meet weekly to help each other cope with major and minor life challenges.

Stephen Ministers—Highly trained and friendly volunteer ministers visit weekly with those facing challenging life transitions and circumstances. This confidential assistance is free.

Friendship Dinner – Scrumptious spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, salad and dessert are served cafeteria style on the fourth Saturday of each month to approximately 100 neighbors. Supper is free; donations are welcome.

If you would like more information about the opportunities listed above or you would simply like a chance to speak confidentially with an advisor, please call the church office: 978-562-2932.

Yours in Faith,
First United Methodist Church of Hudson
